Megan and Chris' Engagement Session at Long Row Lavender Farm | Southeast Missouri Wedding Photographer

Megan reached out about a lavender farm engagement session before we even had a wedding date locked in. And, between traveling to a new location and her enthusiasm to jump into the wedding experience, I was instantly pumped to meet in person! We met at Long Row Lavender, a family owned farm in Wright City, MO, days before harvest with the rows in full bloom. The farm’s modern, farmhouse style barn includes the cutest shop, a coffee and lunch spot, and even a venue space for small events! Such a great spot to spend the afternoon, host a bridal shower, or take engagement photos. ;)

So, it took a total of ten minutes for me to click with Megan and Chris. We went from strangers, to the tightest hello hug, to sharing a cup of coffee, to discovering all of the things we have in common, to friends—just like that. It was like we couldn’t spill our life stories fast enough, and that’s the kind of connection I live for.

These two are genuinely obsessed with each other, so my job was easy. Here are photos from our time spent chatting and laughing!
